Book Review: World's Best Boyfriend by Durjoy Datta

Back of the book says:

Hate, is a four letter word.
So is love.
And sometimes, people can’t tell the difference…

Dhurv and Aranya spend a good part of their lives trying to figure out why they want to destroy each other, why they hurt each other so deeply. And, why they can’t stay away from each other.

The answer is just as difficult each time because all they’ve wanted is to do the worst, most miserable things to one another.

Yet there is something that tells them: THIS IS NOT IT.
If you want to know the answer to it all, read the book.

So, this is the 3rd Durjoy Datta book that I have read and I will read the other books as well, I promise. :) Also, I love his book titles absolutely <3 data-blogger-escaped-nbsp="" data-blogger-escaped-p="">
Now I know I am not the first one to write the review for this book, but hey, better late than never. ;)

Also this is my first ever book review! :| *-*

I was hooked to the book and completed it in a day, and the time when I wasn't reading it I was thinking what was going to happen. I litrelly flipped through the pages and loved it.

The story revolves around the two main characters Dhruv and Ananya, who fall in love in school but end up hating each other so much so that they enjoy seeing the other in trouble, due to some things that happened in school.

They drift away from each other but somehow end up in the same college AND in the same class, and thats where the journey starts. Aranya is bold, sharp and intelligent while Dhruv is notorious yet charming.  They are at each others throats and do not miss any slightest chance they get.

what happens next? Do they end up together or not? worst boyfriend? Best Boyfriend? Read the book to find out.....I promise you will love it.

The books also puts light on 'Vitiligo' or 'safedi' or 'fulwari', a disease with no certain cause. It causes the skin pigment cells to die resulting in patchy, sensitive skin. and how people (in REAL) react to it.

The book overall was filled with twists and turns, it was humourous, drama, romance, hatred, love and friendship. a perfect whirlwind ride.

My favorite character in the book is Dhruv's only friend Sanchit-He is funny, sarcastic and really insane.
And i also liked Raghuvir ;) although yes I know he was a playboy :(

Favorite Quote: <3 data-blogger-escaped-b="">
“Hate is a four letter word and so is love. And, sometimes people can’t tell the difference”
“That’s the cliche about love. You don’t choose it. It chooses you.”
“Easy love is no love. Love’s not love unless you’re laid waste by it, unless you’re destroyed by it, ripped apart and scarred for life by it.”
'Love is a concious decision to be destroyed. Love is being on a roller coaster without the seat belt, there will be highs and lows, you may be thrown out, trampled beneath the wheels, or thrown up to the heavens.
If you can do that, you can be in love. Otherwise, try again, maybe?'

Overall, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book. :D
